Hi,

I'm new to wine making and have bought one of the Youngs Wine Making Kits so want to get a few going to make it pay for itself! We've currently got a batch of Elderberry Wine on the go so we're looking for the next batch to start in the next week or two and was hoping that someone could give us some ideas. Assuming we can make 1-2 different types at a time we're looking for one or two recipies a month ideally from fruits/veg that are readily available at the time.

What do people suggest?

At the moment we've got:

Autumn (now)
-Elderberry (http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/index.php/recipes-elderberry-wine)
-Parsnip (http://www.yobrew.co.uk/parsnip.php)
-Potato
-Apple wine

Any other suggestions/recipes are welcome!

Thaks.

Tim

Hi Tim, there a couple of recipes on here.

A book would probably be a sound investment in you are looking for a lot of new recipes. The CJJ Berry ones are very popular and well respected although a little dated.

I don't have any other recipes except the one's already on here and the site. I tend to make more beer then wine these days as I don't have the patience for country wines, I can never wait for them to mature.

    Planning:Maybe a lager.
    Fermenting:
    Conditioning:Pale with Styrians
    Drinking:Cascade Pale Ale, Summer Lightning
