Nice! I had a couple of pints in there yesterday. Pint of Fagin's... tasted a little 'thin' and without balls... and Abbot special reserve - not bad but a bit sweet. I'll look out for the oracle!

    IBUprofen ....

It's amazing. Compared to the badger pub I'm in! Which is saying something as I love badger beers!

must be a glitch in the matrix, I'm getting a funny sense of deja vu...

I've just finished painting the front of my house, and feel broken. Good job I have a cupboard full to ease the pain. IBUprofen indeed. I'll have to remember that for the wife.

Havent hit a weatherspoons for ages (if you lived where I do you'd understand they attract a certain type of people, and it aint for the ale.) On the plus side, just discovered that a local which I had always walked past and dismissed has Doombar, Summer lightning and another guest all the time!

    Enjoy

Power isn't any fun if it's moderate. It needs to be awesome or terrifying or some such thing. Sorry Stu! I'm drinking a Summer Lightning at the moment, but the bottled stuff is a little... well it's nice but doesn't do much on the hop front.

I went into Morrisons earlier .. was like a kid in a sweetshop. Only came out with 4 as we're off to devon in the morning. But .. pint of Goliath and Scarecrow (both Whchwood... is it just me are all their beers starting to taste exactly the same lately, the scarecrow has an almost identical label as another one), one summer lightening and one white shield, which really is a superior brew!

I haven't had a drink for 4 days and you lot are making me really thirsty. MUST RESIST....

Did do a sneaky brew today though. 49er Clone which went wrong last time. Seems to be working out okay this time, lovely colour and smell from the choc malt. I'll post some pics of the outcome soon.

    Planning:Maybe a lager.
    Fermenting:
    Conditioning:Pale with Styrians
    Drinking:Cascade Pale Ale, Summer Lightning
