BeermonkeyRobinsons Young Tom

Well you've got to hand it to Wetherspoons. Love 'em or Loath 'em when they hold a beer festival they get some interesting beers on.

I was in my local The Queen of Iceni and they had Robinsons Young Tom on. Apparenty not brewed since 2001 they've made it especially for the festival.

It was a really nice pint too.

This full-flavoured dark bitter has a rich, fruity aroma yet a light palate. Its ripe malt character is superbly balanced by the hops. Hops: Golding, First Gold - I can concure with the taste notes that's for sure it's a lovely pint and £1.95 might pop in for another.

    Hey BM

Nice pint .. I'm heading to wetherspoons later today (as a reward for clearing the garden, funny how a trip to the pub didn't used to have strings attached...!)

    :o)

Beer will get you through the times of no money better than money will get you through the times of no beer
