Red Currant Wine?
Hi,
Has anyone ever made redcurrant wine? Got a recipe? Is it worth it?
Got loads out of the garden and want an idea of what to do with them.
Cheers
Julian

Not personally but a quick search on google will give you plenty! Hopefully Tony may have a recipe in his old mega recipe book handed down from gerneration to generation!

:o)
Just had a look through and unfortunately not. There is a blackcurrant and rhubarb wine though :o)
You'll have to excuse me though, I've been so busy lately that deciphering my grandfather's handwriting has been last on the list of things to do. Summer hols coming up so I'll be working on that - along with all the school work, having my two kids here as missus is at work, replacing the shed roof, decorating the kid's room and the living room. The missus has made a list! Gulp.
You could freeze the berries until a good recipe comes along - or try to find one on the net. I'll gladly share this one with you if you can wait!
Good luck!
(with grateful thanks to the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and slightly adapted)
