Hi Andy,
Yes you could add some Raspberry to the fermenter. I would ferment for 4 days, transfer to another fermenter and add the raspberrys. I would suggest around 500g to start with, see how that turns out.
Fermenting:
Conditioning:Pale with Styrians
Drinking:Cascade Pale Ale, Summer Lightning

I would do as greg says or buy a Brewferm Framboos (Raspberry Beer Kit) http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/index.php/beerkits/brewferm/brewferm-raspberry.html haven't tried a Brewferm kit but herd they are very good.

I need to do a birthday beer in the next couple of weeks and was thinking of doing a raspberry steam beer. All my wife's family drink pee-in-a-can lager and I need to trick them into developing a taste for the good stuff. If I win the women over, they'll be able to exert a little pressure on my missus to keep me brewing. :o)
Plan!
Thanks to dandan once again for the inspiration, but need to know .. is it possible to use tinned raspberries or is there too much shite in the way of preservatives? I saw a really good recipe for strawberry wine last week that used tinned (said it was superior to using fresh!) ... could this idea be stolen and used in beer?
(with grateful thanks to the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and slightly adapted)
