Party tap / Little bottler
Want to bottle half my Norfolk Wherry. I have a party tap on my corny and I have a little bottler, so I guess a tube between the party tap and the stem of the little bottler will suffice, however does it matter how well carbonated it is and temp., when bottling, presumably the colder it is the less froth I am going to have in the bottle. I've gone through secondary fermentation so I guess I won't need to prime the bottles.

Yes, I haven't tried as yet but the bottling stick fits onto the party tap so should work fine. I'm just waiting for the keg to condition a bit first so I'll let you know how it turned out. Probably be later this week.

Thanks Nath, thanks Greg, an oh Greg would be interested to hear how you got on bottling. I looked at that link Nath, and I agree with Varnish looks a little OTT, and I don't think I would use a stopper. I guess the only problem I can think of is to much froth, but with a long beer line and keeping it all cold should minimise the problem hopefully. Cheers.

I don't mind being the guinea pig. Friday night is looking good. I'm not going to bother with the stopper, just attach bottling stick to the tap, drop the pressure right down and give it a whirl. I'm only bottling 2 or 3 samples.
