I only done 1 stout and that was a coopers kit with dark spray malt and it was really good, trouble is it was too much for me to drink!

Find a good recipe and I reckon I will be in for having a go.

    Good luck!

    Conditionin'/Drinkin' - OPA Pale
    Conditionin' - LEB Pale
    Conditionin' - Thwaits Nutty Black
    Plannin' - A user upper!

I was thinking about brewing a Stout as I've got some chocolate malt to use up. Already I'm planning full mash brews & I haven't even got my brewery built.

Was thinking Oatmeal Stout something along these lines...

    Pale Malt 4500g
    Crystal Malt 300g
    Chocolate Malt 300g
    Roasted Barley 100g
Flaked Oats 300g toasted for 20 minutes at 180C

    Goldings 70g 90 minutes

    Scottish ale yeast

Planning: Vienna lager, Wheat beer fermented with Gutmann yeast, ESB
    Fermenting:
    Maturing/Conditioning:
Drinking: Pseudo-Lager, Oatmeal stout & Shop bought stuff
