AKMildMeasuring specific gravity

11 months ago | AKMild (Member)

Hi all,

In my excitement at my first-ever brew (Wherry), I forgot to measure the OG! Measured the SG yesterday and it was 1012 (after 7 days). What FG would one usually expect from a Wherry? Also, is it time-critical to get it into the keg/bottles? Only I don't have much time this week, but I'd hate it to spoil if left in the FV for too long.

Thanks as ever,

Keith

Planning: Best of British Ale, Another Tweaked Wherry
