Little Creatures
For the second time in recent months, I ended up going in to a pub that I had written off many years ago, only to be pleasantly surprised that a) it wasnt full of idiots, and b) that it had good beer. I visited the Little Creatures brewery a few years back during a trip to Oz (and if you're ever out that way its worth a stop off). Havent seen it much, if at all, over here. So was thrilled to find a well stocked fridge full of it last night. Bottle conditioned, really nice taste. Try it if you ever come across it.

Currently out of stock at Beers of Europe, I might try it if it was in a proper size bottle. What is it with our colonial cousins & silly size bottles?

Hamish - good things come in small packages. Or thats what I keep telling the wife anyway.
But you're right. They can't even agree on the same measures across the different states! Pots, pints, minis and midis. Its a minefield.
