How long does a barrel of Wherry take to clear?
I've got a barrel of wherry in the garage. I started the secondary fermentation by leaving it in the house for 5 days then transfered it to the garage a week ago. It's still very cloudy. Should it come inside the house or be left in the garage? This was to be for christmas drinking so I'm worried it's not going to be drinkable.

Really difficult to answer as it can vary greatly. I brewed one a few months ago and it cleared in a couple of weeks. I read on other posts that it's taken a couple of months.
It's really cold at the moment and your garage may be even colder than fridge temps so it might be worth drawing a pint off, taking it indoors and leaving it to warm a bit. The cloudiness may be due to chill haze and will drop out when warmer.
However, it may just need to site for longer, as a week is a little optimistic.

Done two wherry's and I would definitely recommend waiting till the 4/5 week point for a clear pint. However it is very drinkable after two weeks conditioning, if you don't mind a cloudy pint.
