Hi,I have been lurking for a while now and always found the answer I needed at the time but I now have a question that requires expert help from you all.
Due to work and just being very lazy I have 2 brews that have finished approx a month ago that need to be bottled,a Coopers Aussie brewed with a Saflager yeast and a Brewers Choice Czech Pils brewed with the Brewferm Lager yeast supplied with the kit.Do you think there will still be enough yeast in suspension to carbonate after all this time?
I do have a couple of Coopers yeasts in the fridge so I am open too all advise.

Cheers Andrew

I think you should be fine, though it will take longer to carbonate in the bottles. I once did a lager - fermened over 2 weeks at 12c then lagered at 5c for 3-4 weeks and that still had enough yeast to carbonate properly, though it took 2 weeks in the warm to carbonate!

Drinkin' - nowt, it's all gone

Thanks Nath but I do have another question.
These have been at room temp all the time as I dont have lagering facilities yet,do you think this will make any difference or should I make up some of the Coopers Aussie yeast and add when I bottle.
I also added 20 grammes of Saaz hop pellets after fermentation was over but there still seems to hops in suspension, any ideas how to transfer to the bottling bin without all the debris?
I was thinking of a fine sieve in the FV and then syphoning from inside the sieve,it worked well on a dry Belvino kit.
Sorry to ask more questions but once learnt lol.
    Time for a beer.

    Cheers Andrew

Nah carbonation will be ok. Room temp is fine but I dont know what efefct it will have on the taste of the beers as they are supposed to be fermented at lower temps.

Try to miss as much of the pellets as possible when syphoning and yep a sieve will be fine, just make sure its sterilised

    Thanks again Nath.
I suppose I will have to make a move and start bottling but the couch and a beer is so relaxing lol.

    Cheers Andrew
