Hi after many years of wine making then giving it all up, i've decided to go back to it since living in dover.
does anyone no where i can pick elderberries?

    Cor blimey, I've no idea. I suppose you could have a look on various walkers and ramblers websites or ask locally. Me thinks the latter would be the best option!

    They should be pretty much everywhere in the country side although you have to be quick as most round here have fallen off now. A couple of week ago was the best time to get them.

    You can buy them dried if not.

    Planning:Maybe a lager.

    Conditioning:Pale with Styrians
    Drinking:Cascade Pale Ale, Summer Lightning

    Managed to find quite a lot of elderberries up on the White Ciffs of Dover.
    mind you it did cost me £3 to get up there, since its been taken over by National Trust.
    starting my first batch tomorrow.

    mind you it did cost me £3 to get up there, since its been taken over by National Trust.

    there's a place a couple of miles from where I grew up called Clovelly, its privately owned (the whole village) and will cost you £6 to get in there!
