just a note to say hi
iam pretty new to this but not doing bad starting to venture into recipes for beer and wine,just started a potatoe and raisin whisky for xmas and soon be attempting a banana beer,
all in all my normal beers have faired well best lager for me coopers austrailian (bottled) and tom caxton ale (barrelled).

    Welcome to the forum.

    Coopers kits always return reliable and tasty results. Be interesting to see how your banana beer turns out so please post your progress with pictures if possible.

    just an update

    whisky and banana beer have you posted by sunday.
    also the tom caxton ale is damn fine an ideal barrelled beer and coming to the end soon and has improved with age.
    i have also added a post for attempting strawberry beer using a geordie bitter kit and fresh strawberries.just thought of experimenting.
    still sticking with coopers for my lager may try the new coopers european.
