Hello from Ayrshire. Great to see a new forum.
Been making wine for many years and am just looking at getting into making my own beer. Hopefully some long nights on the forum will help me discover all of the tricks of brewing a decent pint.

Good man for making wine, beer is a great step. You already know how to turn water into wine...why not beer as well!
There are some great kits out there. The extract brews on this site are great ( I have done the summer ale and can vouch for that). Bring on the questions and dont be a stranger!
