Fuller's Bengal Lancer and The Mysteries of Bottle Conditioning
I've just opened a Fuller's Bengal Lancer which insists it's bottle conditioned.
I think it may have been conditioned in a different bottle to the one I bought it in.. No sediment.
Not a great deal of taste either really beyond the initial mouthful. Some nice bitterness but too much crystal.
Nowt special.
Beer will get you through the times of no money better than money will get you through the times of no beer

I've never heard or seen that one. I think I may avoid it by the sounds of it. Can't see how they can claim its bottle conditioned if there is no sediment.

I looked it up on their website, it's listed as a 'seasonal' beer - available in pubs for just february & march (no mention at all of putting it - and conditioning it - in a bottle.) They even have a little video, which just like the beer, says absolutely nothing at all, I can't believe they wasted their time making it (like the beer)
I bought it in waitrose, haven't seen it anywhere else.

:o)
Not really. Its easily drinkable and the initial burst of hops is nice, but then it goes nowhere.
Much like me.... I need to win the lottery!
