Varnishfull length or water back?

1 year ago | Varnish (Member)

I've seen a few guys here boil a shorter brew length, then water it down after the boil to obtain the full length to ferment.

I've always started the boil with more and aimed to end up with the correct brew length.

Which is better?
I guess it depends on the size of your equipment.

I've occasionally added water to drop the gravity to where I wanted it - but not for any other reason.

I guess it depends on the size of your equipment.

    who has been talking??? Eh?

Beer will get you through the times of no money better than money will get you through the times of no beer
