Hi Plopleuk, try this recipe, http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/index.php/recipes-elderberry-wine
I've made it lots of times and is really nice. Needs a good year in the bottle to really get good.
Fermenting:
Conditioning:Pale with Styrians
Drinking:Cascade Pale Ale, Summer Lightning

By the way, can this recipe be used for making blackberry wine too? If I substitute the elders for blacks? Just a thought..... Cheers!

Hi Fizzy, not sure really never made it. Guess it will work in theory, go for it. You can probably find some good recipes on the net though.

Hi greg, just started the same recipe - but have a query! the recipe says grape juice, is this an either or, or should i add the grape juice aswell as the natural berry juice.

I am also trying this recipe. Does anyone know if I can use a WYeast activator instead of the yeast activator + yeast? And if so would I add at stage 3 or 4?
Andy555 - I think you need the grape juice as well.
