I started my edme super brew german beer i found in wilkisons but i seem to have lost the instructions and can't rember how long its in the pressure barrel in the fridge for about a week might just test it to see

    Got one on the go started on 9/6 its still in the FV says after bottling or keg Warm place for two days then cool place for 14 days or until beer is clear

    5 gal geordie bitter
    5 gal St Peters Golden Ale as per tin
    Youngs Harvest Mild
    all a bit moded

    Hi JT035:
    I leave my EDME LAGER for at least 28 days to mature and clear when it's in the barrel
    you can clear it in 14 days when you use bottles,it will take longer in a barrel.

    Is there much diff in the Lager and the Weizen wildbrew?

    5 gal geordie bitter
    5 gal St Peters Golden Ale as per tin
    Youngs Harvest Mild

    I have only made the EDME-German style Lager,i have not tried to make weizen beer

    hi peter,
    no offence, but if you know, what real german beer is, than the question about weizen and lager is self answering i think i read somewhere that weizen is maturing faster. cannt tell, myone is to be bottled/ keggt tomorrow.
    hope you mean with "real" not that washing up water called becks, warsteiner and co.
