I know you would ideally dry hop in the secondary after primary fermentation, but is there any problem with dry hopping in the primary? I was planning the following, starting this sat:

1. Brew Wort
2. Dump into primary
3. Pitch yeast
4. Add half the Dry Hops
5. 3 days later, add the other half
6. After primary fermentation, transfer to bottling vessel
7. Bottle!

I am a bit worried that adding the dry hops during the vigorous fermenting stage will upset things

I dry hopped my 49er in the primary and although I havnt kegged it yet Im sure it will be fine, a number of others do the same thing!

The only thing I done was wait until not so much co2 was being produced to keep theose lovely smells in the fv and not driven off through the airlock.

Drinkin' - nowt, it's all gone
    Plannin'-
Loads a beer after an upgrade!
