cornwall16Digital thermometer

Hi everyone
Just a tip on temp.control.I have just bought a Digital Thermometer on E.Bay
for £1.24p from a company called 365Digital.Find them at Consumer Electronics.
You just tape the probe to the side of your F.V.and get a reading,its only in C.
But is accurate as far as i can tell,and easy to read .This time of year you need
all the help you can get to moniter your brew.It was about 3 weeks delivery time?

Drinking Crumpton Cider {to collect the bottles}
First brew Youngs Yorks.Bitter in the Barrel end of this week!
F.V. Youngs Stout to be bottled {see above}
Beer so much more than Just a breakfast drink?

    Hi cornwall
    I bought a couple of those last year - came all the way from China .. beats me how they make anything with all that postage (and the battery is included)! If it's the same one - and I think it must be, they're not bad... I kept one on my FV all the time to monitor and couldn't fault them - with one exception... the plastic over the battery compartment is a little thin - I had to wedge some paper in there when it bowed to make a good contact.
    I've lost the first one but have another here for this winter!

    Beer will get you through the times of no money better than money will get you through the times of no beer
    (with grateful thanks to the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and slightly adapted)

    HI Nath
    Have you got your C & Fs mixed up? 70c is hellish hot? They sell @99p + p+p 25p
    I have seen 29 C on mine.as my F,V. is on a heating mat.to hot! but i could monitor
    easy what was happening,and turn it off.
    Go to Consumer Electronics and put Thermometer in search box should show lots.
    Well worth searching for.I have seen them tonight!!!!on E.bay.
