User has not uploaded an avatarDifference between "1-tin" and "2-tin" kits

1 year ago | tombed (Member)

Hiya,
Just started to drink my first batch of Wherry. I cannot believe how nice it tastes! I'm now looking to start the process again and am trying to choose another beer. I was just wondering what the difference is between kits that only have one tin, and kits that have two? I'm guessing the 2-tin ones are better (about twice the price for the same amount of beer right?), but could anyone explain why please?

Many thanks in advance,

Tom

The 2 tin kits contain malt extract where as the 1 can kits you have to add your own fermentables, be it sugar some dried malt or some liquid malt or a mix. On another note - I loved wherry, the first kit I done and thought WOW!

Drinkin' - nowt, it's all gone
    Plannin'-
Loads a beer after an upgrade!

    CHeers mate.
Same here, i was a bit gutted when i found the tap had leaked and i'd lost about 5 pints, and also it tasted a bit "lively", but a week later, oh my god, it was lovely!
I've just shared it with a few guys from work today, they like it too! woohoo!

    thanks again,

    Tom
