Corny Keg without CO2

Im about to corny keg my Wherry but haven't got a enough co2. Will I be ok adding sugar to the brew to get natural carbonation then filling the corny right to the top so there would be hardly any air left in keg ?

Drinking : St Peters Ruby Red
Fermenting : Spitfire Clone
Conditioning : Woodfordes Nelsons Revenge
Planning : Speckled Hen Clone

Yep you can naturally carb in a corny if you dont have enough c02, but leave some space and then release some pressure after 2 days to get rid of the air.
