Hi

I have a chance to purchase the following:

2 x Cornelius 19 Litre Kegs
1 x Pressure Regulator + Connections
1 x Dispensing Tap + Connections
1 x CO2 Cylinder

I have up to now only used bottles but that can be a bit frustrating with the cleaning etc. Can anyone list the advantage and disadvantages of these? Also how long would beer last in there? Im not a HUGE drinker so am thinking would it be a waste of money for myself if I couldnt drink the beer quick enough.

Thanks as always

Hi Gazz, cornies are great and the beer will keep in them as long as it keeps in bottles. That looks like a complete setup so if the price is okay I would go for it.

Its a lot easier than bottling so long as you have somewhere to keep the kegs.

    Planning:Maybe a lager.
    Fermenting:
    Conditioning:Pale with Styrians
    Drinking:Cascade Pale Ale, Summer Lightning

Right well I bought the whole set up for £90, excellent condition aswell. Also managed to get 5 demi johns for £10.

Now I have some reading up to do on how to use the things!

£90, that's a bargain. 5 Demi johns - you need to get some Turbo Cider on.

Cornies are easy to use. Ask away if you have any questions.
