How about Beer-related Confessions?
I have a few... but could start the ball rolling with something terrible. When I'm buying beer to drink at home, my choice is governed by whether I can get the label off so that I can use the bottle for my own brews. So many labels these days are stuck on with glue that can't be shifted by water, alcohol, acetone or nuclear explosion.
Beer will get you through the times of no money better than money will get you through the times of no beer

Unfortunately my favourites (st Austell) are plastic labels and a bitch to get off. I've actually got a big enough stash now so I don't tend to keep them anymore. I tend to barrel these days as I can't be bothered with all the work involved in bottling if I can avoid it.

You're right. I have enough bottles in store already but I hate to see waste :o) Bottling is a pain but I just prefer the conditioning in a bottle.
Gazz... do you think we could get breweries to understand that their sales would rocket if they used labels that were easily removed?

I think its spitefull they dont!
I always prefer the conditioning in the bottle. I also like to distribute a few bottles to friends & family just to show off!!!! Bottling is worth the effort if you ask me. But then again i've never tried the barrel.
