cider not going as expected --- any tips
i have recently started a blackrock cider kit it was supposed to stop fermenting within 10-14 days but has stoped after 5. i don't think the yeast has pitched properly, can i add more yeast to try and get it going again or will it mess it all up?

You may find that this hot weather will ferment your cider faster as most yeasts perform better than expected at higher temps. Have a look with your hydrometer. Also just because the head has died down does not mean the cider has finished fermenting.
The only way to check is with the trusty hydro.
Conditionin' - LEB Pale

Agree with Nath. If your hydro reading is where you expect it to be then its finished. I've had beers finish in 24 hrs in the summer.

no not anywhere near what i should be reading i'm at 1020 but wanting 1006, i was thinking about lifting the fermenter into a sink full of warm/hot water to bring the internal temp back up to 23-30 degs and then adding another yeast sachet, but i'm not sure? any suggestions please!

What temp is it at now? Check the gravity tomorrow to see if its changed as its probably stir fermenting but just without much visable signs.
If not then I would give it a gentle stir with a sterilised spoon which should work.
