Campden Tablets
Add 1/2 a crushed campden tablet to 5 gallons of water to remove all the chlorine.
Makes a huge difference on any beer brewing, including kits, extract and all grain.
Obviously I excluded from any prizes but this is a great tip which I thought I would share.
Planning:Maybe a lager.

Does this have to been done ahead of brewing or can you do it just before you start to heat the water?
Cheers

Just before is fine. Crush it up and then add to the water before heating.

Thanks Greg.
Not very scientific of me when comparing against extract but I'm going to use tap water and water treatments for my first BIAB brew. It only dawned on me yesterday that, even though I used bottled water, I should have still used some water treatments to get the right pH and balance of salts/minerals in my other brews. You live and learn.
