BeermonkeyCambridge Beer Festival

With less than 2 weeks to go to the 37th Cambridge Beer Festival. I for one cannot wait to go along what will be my 4th year.

Just wondering whether anyone is going? If you are when? If you have been before what do you think?

Must admit it's right up there with the GBBF and Norwich ones. The cheese counter there as well is superb! Cannot recommend this enough.

Damn wish I could BM... but it took all my skills to get the green light for the GBBF. Hope you have a blast!

Beer will get you through the times of no money better than money will get you through the times of no beer

Such a shame... it's a damn fine festival and so far the weather each year has been fantastic!

I am hoping that Stonehenge Brewery have their Spring Time/Tide? ale in as it's GREEN in colour. Don't let that put you off though because it tastes lovely.

I might stick a picture on here over the bank holiday weekend if i am still sober enough to operate the camera and get the pictures on here.

    Nath...

It's lovely stuff! I had people coming up to me last year wondering what i was drinking.

I've just looked on their website. It is called sign of spring and it's not around for much longer so if you can get some i'd get it now if you can?

Just looking at the Danish Dynamite made me want to come all the way down to Wiltshire to get some. However, i am not sure the other half would appreciate me coming down so far to pick beer up. Especially with so many breweries around here.

Is it a nice drop then Nath? Hopefully, one of our freehouses around here might stock it at some point over the summer.
