Best Food to accompany the Pint
Ok,
Someone mentioned whether Greg should sell Pork Scratchings on this website and this got me thinking... What is the best thing to accompany a good old pint of ale?
Personally, you cannot beat a decent pork pie with mustard & chutney with a nice dark pint like Woodfordes Norfolk Nog. Or a good plougmans with something light like Kelham Island Pale Rider..
So what does everyone else think?

Historically its not wine and cheese. Beer and cheese was the norm back in the day. Anyhoo I love a lager and a curry, a massive ploughmans sarnie and a crackin' malty/hoppy (50/50) pint or anything with an IPA.
Conditionin' - LEB Pale

Roast Dinner with a nice dark winter ale is always a winner.
I would second ploughmans with nice hoppy pale ale.

my fave is an IPA with a great medium rare Ribeye steak with roast veg and salad (trying to cut out the chunky chips)

In the summer with a cold IPA you can't beat Prawn Papads. They are a light prawn curry wrapped in a soft popadom and deep fried. Bloming lovely!
