Beer Tickers:- Beyond the Ale
I've finally got around to watching this programme. All i can say is that is some serious dedication that even the late great Roy Castle would have been proud of.
There was one man on there who'd tried over 38,000 types of ale! How the hell did he manage that?
Just wondering whether anyone else had seen this programme? Plus what did you think? Could you keep up with these guys?

Nath it was on a little known Sky channel called Blighty. I am sure if you hunt around on YouTube some where like that it will be on there.
I do know you can buy the DVD on Amazon or Play.com
But honestly they are seriously dedicated to ale. Even going out to beer festivals on their anniversaries. I'd get slaughtered if i decided to do that on my wedding anniversary.

Blatant plug for the film:
http://www.beertickersfilm.com
You can get the DVD on there. AND... fancy joining us on the UK Pubs Tour - we're touring the film around a few pubs across the country, simply an excuse to share the film, have a few beers and help the pubs drag a few more unsuspecting ale lovers into their establishments! Check out UK Pubs Tour link on the beertickers film website.

I watched the trailer on youtube ... outstanding!
Just running the conversation I'd have with my missus through my head... 'Ummmm ... going to go on a countrywide pub tour, few blokes are...' That's about as far as I'd get. I'd either be shouting the rest of it through the letterbox .. or it would be in a voice only dogs can hear.
Fantastic plan, really wish I could be there!
(with grateful thanks to the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers and slightly adapted)

Great to see your post Phil. I can only wish I was part of your team!
Cant make it to any pubs as they are too far away
but if you ever do any more dates i can recomend Salisbury.
(or any pub near me!)
