Brew UK Forum | Beer Kits
beer kits
[b]Hi
Sorry to ask this crazy question but do all home brew kits that you buy in the shop you add the same amount of hot water each time and the same amount of cold water required.
I know this may seem odd but i have recently purchased a beer kit an did not have the amount of hot water to add.
Any help would be good
grateful thanks

It does depend on the kit but I think most have a similar amount as most kits brewlength is around 23ltrs.
Which kit is it? I can have a look around.

Hi
I would use a kettle full of hot just to dissolve the malt and any sugar you need to add before topping up to the final volume with cold (as per the instructions). I think that kit is a 23 litre but not entirely sure.
